Tales to Tails: Read to Therapy Dogs with the CAP Program
Tales to Tails
Monday, July 27 • 10:30–11:30 AM
Join us for a paws-itively delightful morning with the certified therapy dogs of the Companion Animal Program (CAP)!
Children are invited to build reading confidence one story at a time by reading aloud to these gentle, attentive listeners. Therapy dogs provide a calm, encouraging environment that helps young readers relax, practice their skills, and discover the joy of reading.
Not ready to read? No problem! Everyone is welcome to meet the dogs, enjoy some doggy cuddles, chat with their volunteer handlers, and learn more about the important work therapy dogs do throughout our community.
Whether you're an emerging reader, a lifelong dog lover, or simply looking for a fun family outing, Tales to Tails is sure to leave you smiling.
All ages are welcome. No registration required.
